We recently purchased a house, and while removing the wallpaper, we discovered moisture marks on a wall in the bedroom behind the shower. After consulting with a plumber, we confirmed that the moisture is due to water seeping through the shower tiles. We filed an insurance claim, and they requested that we bring in an expert to assess the extent of the work needed and estimate the costs involved.
